About me

About Me

I work at the intersection of food, retail, and brand building, with a focus on helping emerging consumer packaged goods companies navigate the realities of bringing a product to market. My path has taken me through roles where I have been responsible for understanding how buyers think, how shelves are curated, and how products earn and maintain their place in competitive categories. Over time, I have developed a methodology that centers on clarity of positioning, disciplined assortment decisions, and a deep respect for how consumers actually use and experience products in their daily lives.

My experience spans both strategic and hands-on operational work. I have spent years observing how early-stage brands move from idea to launch, where they typically get stuck, and which decisions have the greatest impact on long-term viability. Those observations inform how I approach product development, packaging choices, pricing, and channel selection. I value direct feedback from customers and buyers, and I use that input to refine concepts, adjust messaging, and ensure that what is presented on shelf aligns with what people genuinely want to purchase.

In my work, I prioritize practical frameworks over abstract theory. I am drawn to systems that help founders make confident decisions about their hero product, target customer, and path to market, without getting lost in trends or noise. My perspective is shaped by seeing firsthand how clear focus, thoughtful positioning, and realistic planning can reduce stress and increase the likelihood that a brand will find its footing. I care about building structures that support sustainable growth, and I continuously refine my approach based on what I see working in real retail environments.
