I am Polly Payne, a creative entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Horacio Printing. My work has grown from a deep interest in paper, planning, thoughtful design, and the role physical products can play in everyday life. I have built experience across product development, publishing, manufacturing, branding, and direct-to-consumer commerce, with a particular focus on planners, journals, devotionals, and other paper goods.
My journey has involved learning how an initial creative idea becomes a tangible product. That process requires more than visual design. It involves understanding materials, page structure, printing methods, sampling, production timelines, vendor communication, inventory, shipping, pricing, and customer experience. I have spent years working through those decisions in practice and refining systems that support reliable product development.
I approach my work by combining creativity with careful planning. I value products that are useful, durable, visually considered, and connected to a clear purpose. I also believe that manufacturing becomes more manageable when expectations are documented, questions are asked early, and each stage is reviewed before moving forward. My experience has taught me to treat revisions and quality checks as essential parts of the creative process rather than as obstacles to it.
My professional interests continue to center on paper products, independent brands, entrepreneurship, and the practical systems required to bring physical goods into the world. I am motivated by the intersection of imagination and execution: shaping an idea, making responsible production decisions, and building a business around products that people can use meaningfully in their daily lives.
